Mountain Bike FAQ
This trip is designed for teens ages 13 to 16 who enjoy mountain biking and want to explore some of British Columbia’s best riding destinations alongside other young riders.
Our 10 day trip (July 2-11, 2027) explores Vancouver Island, including Cumberland and Mount Washington, before continuing to Whistler Bike Park. Riders will experience a mix of forest trails, singletrack, and lift accessed downhill riding.
Travelers should be experienced in riding, and have done intermediate trails and are confident enough to be able to keep up with the group.
Two Evolve guides with knowledge of the region accompany the group throughout the trip, supporting participants during riding, travel, meals, and group activities.
Yes. Rental bikes are included in the trip package.
We recommend bringing a helmet and protective equipment. Rental options will also be available.
Participants will share rooms with one other camper, with separate beds for each person.
All breakfasts and dinners are included. Lunches are not included, so participants will need spending money to purchase lunch each day.
The package includes accommodations, rental bikes, scheduled riding and group activities, transportation during the trip, all breakfasts and dinners, and support from two Evolve guides. Flights to and from the trip and lunches are not included.
Most days focus on riding at the scheduled destination, with breaks for meals, rest, and time together as a group. The itinerary includes both trail riding and lift accessed bike park days.
The trip will include two Evolve coaches for a maximum of 16 participants, providing a maximum supervision ratio of 1 guide for every 8 riders
