At Evolve Camps, we know that every child learns at their own pace. That’s why our ski and snowboard programs at Mount St. Louis Moonstone are designed with progression in mind. From first-time skiers to confident snowboarders tackling terrain parks, our programs provide the right mix of instruction, encouragement, and fun to help each camper succeed.
Beginner: First Turns and Building Confidence
Our beginner groups focus on the fundamentals—balancing, stopping, and making those very first turns. With patient, professional instructors and small group ratios, kids learn in a supportive, low-pressure environment that sets them up for a lifetime of winter fun.
Novice: Exploring the Slopes
Once the basics are solid, kids are ready to explore more of the mountain. At this level, they begin linking turns, using lifts with confidence, and building smoother control on green runs. Our instructors keep lessons safe and fun, while encouraging independence.
Intermediate: Skill Development and Variety
Intermediate skiers and snowboarders start venturing onto blue runs and learning more dynamic techniques. Kids refine their carving, build stronger control at higher speeds, and expand their confidence in different terrain.
Advanced: Challenging Themselves
For campers who are already comfortable on blue and black runs, our advanced groups introduce more technical skills, freestyle basics, and terrain park progression. With access to MSLM’s three terrain parks, students who want to push their freestyle skills can do so in a safe and structured setting.
The Evolve Difference
Our goal isn’t just to teach skiing and snowboarding—it’s to create an unforgettable winter experience. With 4.5–5 hours of on-hill instruction each day, supervised bus transportation from Toronto, and caring staff who support students both on and off the slopes, families can feel confident choosing Evolve Camps.
No matter where your child starts, there’s a place for them at Evolve Camps this winter. From first turns to freestyle, we’re here to help every student progress, build confidence, and love their time on the mountain.
