Scooter Competition at Norton Skatepark

Mark your calendars! On Friday, June 6th, Evolve Camps is bringing an exciting community scooter competition to Burlington, and everyone is welcome - whether you're here to compete or just soak in the energy from the sidelines. Best of all? It's completely free to attend.

This is community skating at its best - no gatekeeping, all levels welcome, and a whole lot of fun. Whether your rider has been on a scooter for six months or six years, there's a spot for them here.

Open to All Levels - Seriously, Everyone

We've broken the competition into three categories so every rider gets a fair shot:

  • Beginner - Just getting comfortable on your scooter? Get in here. This is your moment.

  • Intermediate - You've got tricks and you know it. Time to show them off.

  • Pro - Think you've got what it takes? Show us what you've got.

There's no baseline or required skill level. Riders are encouraged to perform at whatever level they feel most comfortable - the goal is to have fun and celebrate the riding community.

How It Works

The format is straightforward and designed to give every competitor the best chance to shine:

  • 2 runs of 45 seconds each - Your run, your way. You bring the vision, we bring the crowd.

  • 10-minute warm-up - Every heat gets a full warm-up before the competition starts. No cold drops.

  • Heat order: Beginners kick things off, Intermediate follows, and Pro closes it out.

  • Judging criteria: Trick difficulty, diversity, style, and consistency. In other words - skate like yourself and make it count.

Safety First

All competitors are required to wear proper protective gear. Safety is non-negotiable, but beyond that, riders are free to express themselves however they'd like. Do the tricks you love, at the level you're at.

Prizes Up for Grabs

The top 3 riders in every category will walk away with prizes. Yes, every category - Beginner, Intermediate, and Pro. Don't sleep on it.
