Is My Child Too Young or Too Much of a Beginner for Golf Camp?

We get this question from parents all the time. And the honest answer is almost always no.

The camps that struggle are the ones that throw all skill levels into one big group and run them through the same drills regardless of where each kid is starting from. A complete beginner and a kid who already plays recreationally have completely different needs and if a camp doesn't account for that, neither one gets much out of the week.

At Evolve Golf Camp, we group campers by skill level so the coaching is always relevant to where your child actually is. Beginners work on fundamentals, grip, posture, alignment, and making contact consistently. More experienced players work on course management, shot shaping, and scoring strategy.

Both groups spend mornings at the Markham Golf Dome and afternoons on the course at Markham Executive Golf Course. The environment is the same. The coaching is calibrated to the individual.

Golf is also one of the most forgiving sports for late starters. Unlike sports where physical development creates hard windows, golf rewards patience, repetition, and smart coaching, all of which are built into every day of Evolve Golf Camp.

If your child is curious about golf, that's enough to start.
