The new gear guide for the upcoming winter season has officially gone public. Each piece of gear has been tested, discussed, and scrutinized over. The Transworld crew knows their stuff.
The crew ran close to 400 snowboards through trial runs on top of an additional 40 splitboard set ups and 30 power boards. They tested 50 different pairs of bindings, 60 different pairs of boots and loads of accessories.
The selected boards featured in this year’s gear guide are all winners of the Good Wood Snowboard Test that took place in Winter Park, Colorado in April of this past year. 18 judges tried out the boards for 10 days of testing. The judges were made up of riders of all levels and styles, ranging from beginner powder hounds to professional park rats.
The selected boots, binding, and additional accessories are all holders of the Transworld Tested and Approved Award. This award was recently introduced to the snowboarding world.
