How to get there: From Toronto, Hop on the 400 until you get to Barrie. Then take Hwy 26 all the way to Collingwood. Once you get to Collingwood – there’s a few ways into the resort and a couple different parking lots. Once you get familiar with the resort you’ll find the route and parking lot that best fits your own needs.
The Park: What to Expect
The Blue Mountain Terrain park in is known as the Badlands terrain park. The Badlands terrain park at Blue Mountain offers something for every level of skier and snowboarder. There are tons of rails and jumps and they even feature a super pipe. This makes Blue Mountain Badlands terrain park a force to be reckoned with.
Other Terrain:
Blue Mountain in Collingwood Ontario Canada features 720 vertical feet and 36 trails that are geared towards Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced skiers and Snowboarders. Aside from the two terrain parks, the mountain also has a Super Pipe.
Lifts:
There are 14 lifts at Blue Mountain and 4 of them are high speed chairs.
The Best Part:
Aside from a good ski and snowboard option in the province of Ontario, the Mountain also features Ontario’s most extensive slope side village area. The Village area at Blue Mountain Resort features tons of hotel and accommodation options, restaurants, bars and a little bit of nightlife. Ontarians and people from outside the province can head to blue for the day or for a weekend away with the family.
