Evolve Camps and Water First Partner
With Love, Respect and Gratitude.
Evolves Camps’ home resort in Coldwater, Ontario is located on the traditional territory of the Chippeweas of Lakes Simcoe and Huron—home to the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) People
We recognize that it is an absolute privilege to be able to operate our programs on this beautiful land that surrounds Coldwater, especially Mount St.Louis Moonstone. We also recognize that we owe that privilege to the Indigenous communities that have upheld that land and continue to call it home.
To show our gratitude, we would like to start giving back to First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.
Effective immediately, Evolve Camps will donate $2 from every registration to our Winter Ski and Snowboard Program to Water First.
Water First is an organization that works directly with indigenous communities across Canada. Their initiatives include educational support, skills training, and providing access to clean water. You can follow them @waterfirstngo on Twitter and Instagram or visit their website here to find out more about their specific programs.
Once the snow melts in the Spring, we will continue this donation program through our summer camp registrations.
We are beyond excited to launch this partnership, but most importantly, we are excited to give back to those who continue to provide us and our campers with immeasurable worth.
