Transworld Skateboarding just announced the latest proposal for the 2020 Tokyo Games.
The official proposal stated that a total of 18 events have been suggested to be part of the 2020 games that are to be set in Tokyo. Amongst those 18 events, Baseball, Karate, Skateboarding, Sports Climbing, and Surfing are all sporting divisions which have been proposed.
A proposition of a total of 4 Skateboarding events has been given. Two street comps, both men and women are in that race; as are two park comps, also both men and women. The 4 events will have a total of 20 competitors in each.
Both the coming Winter Olympics, and now the coming Summer Olympics are said to be targeting a younger, more youthful audience.
