The Vanderhoof Skatepark located East York in the Leonard Linton Park has been calling for some much-needed attention over the past few years. Nicknamed the Hoof Skatepark, this park is known best for its big concrete bowl, once deemed to the best “best bowl in Ontario” by eyskate. Though a solid place to skate, this location was certainly in need of a cleanup, and locals ensured that this happened. Steve Kotsopoulous organized a community cleanup of this skater’s haven. The group of repaired the damaged concrete of bowl, and gave the surface fresh coats of blue and white paint. The park looks rad! We can’t wait to make it out.
