So we got some really cool news just off the press here at the Evolve Headquarters. Drum roll please… Evolve has a new brand partner for the 2014-2015 season, and that is none other than Oakley. Woah, cool, no way. Yes! The rumours (and title^) are true, we will be working with the awesome sunglass leader and you can expect some awesome giveaways and prizes with the famous O. Now we are all familiar with the brand, but just perhaps you didn’t know that Oakley was started by James Jannard in 1975 out of his garage with an initial investment of $300. The name “Oakley” came from Jannard’s dog. Could you imagine that!? He began with shades for motocross and BMX and soon moved into the territory of ski and snowboard goggles. Let us at Evolve Snow Camps thank you James, and Oakley, for keeping us all looking so cool and mysterious over the years. Here are a favourite pair of ours from the past.
