We had a great time last weekend at the Toronto Snow Show giving lessons to some new groms and having a little bit of time to free skate. One of the highlights of the weekend was our best trick competition, in which some campers, some coaches, and some wildcard entries were able to show off some of their biggest bangers in order to take home some sweet prizes. One of the best parts about Evolve Skate Camp is that even when camp is not in session, we still have amazing events and competitions throughout the year, to give plenty of reason to keep your skills sharp, and to gather everyone to hang out and keep the healthy vibe alive.
And this November is without exception, as we will have our fall skate jam, bringing together everyone in the Evolve Skate Camp family, and all of our partners including Vans, Diamond, Gatorade, West 49, Penny, Enjoi and Olloclip, for a day full of skating and good times.
It’s all going down Saturday November 8th at Newmarket Recreation Youth Centre and Sk8 Park. There will be food, prizes, music (featuring yours truly on the turntables) and some huge tricks.
