Mount St Louis

Website: http://www.mountstlouis.com

Location: 24 Mt St Louis Rd  Coldwater, ON L0K 1E0

How to get there: Take Hwy 11 North out of Toronto to HWY 400 and keep heading about 20 minutes north until you see Mount St Louis creeping up on the left side of the Highway. Park at the Mount St Louis Base to access the Junkyard. Park at the Moonstone Base to access the Outback Terrain Park.

The Park: What to Expect

The best part of the Outback is the design of the park. From speaking to some of our friends who are pro skiers and riders, they all seem to think that the park ‘flows’ really well. The massive jumps and super challenging rails make for a fun day; and keep Ontario’s ski and snowboard community coming back to MSLM time and time again. The best part about sessioning the Outback is the fact that there is pretty much a dedicated lift right into the park.

The junkyard is known as a good park for beginner park riders, and those transitioning to more challenging features. The mini pipe that they’ve been building at MSLM’s junkyard park is also a fan favourite.

Other Terrain:

A healthy mix of Blue, Blacks and Greens. Maybe not the tallest mountain in Ontario but there is enough terrain for everybody. They boast a whopping 36 runs.

Lifts:

The mountain features high speed chairs galore and a few 6-person chairs as well. The mountain can handle 26,000 skiers per hour on their chairs which keep waiting times down to a minimum.

The Best Part:

Regarded as having the best Ski and Snowboard Terrain Parks in Ontario.

It’s also super close to the city. Some people can get there from Toronto in just over 1-hour without speeding.
