Summer Camps

Evolve Skate Camps is a co-ed summer program offering skateboard lessons and a full summer camp experience for campers ages 6-14. Our camp directors have designed programming to feature skateboarding fundamentals such as balance, and coordination, along with camp games, contests, as well as supervised swimming.

Evolve Bus Camps
These camps bring campers to a different skatepark each day of the week

These programs run Monday-Friday, in the summer months

Campers are picked up by school bus between 7:15-8:30am, and are dropped off between 3:45-5:30pm daily

Our pickup/drop-off locations are generally public schools or other community hubs throughout the city

Campers participate in lessons, free skate, optional swimming (where a pool is available) and fun camp games and programming!
Evolve Drop-Off Camps
Evolve drop-off camps are camps where campers are dropped off at one location.

Campers participate in lessons, free skate, optional swimming (where a pool is available) and other traditional camp-style programming

These programs run Monday-Friday, in the summer months
Municipality Camps
Municipality camps are camps where Evolve has partnered with a

City/town or community centre to host a camp

Campers participate in lessons, free skate, optional swimming and other traditional camp-style programming

There camps only include bussing when specified by the municipality.

Skateboard Lesson Programs

Skateboarding lessons are the best way for your child to learn how to skateboard in a safe and supportive environment. We focus on safety techniques and the basics of balance, and progressing into other skateboarding skills.

Lessons are suitable for first timers or kids looking to improve their current level. Our professionally trained instructors offer guidance and supervision every step of the way.

Fall Lessons start the week of September 14th, and are running at the following locations:

Toronto, Burlington, Markham, Calgary and Vancouver

Lessons Include
4-6 weeks of instructional skateboarding with our trained instructors, in Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels

This is a drop-off program and does not include transportation

Campers must come with their own helmets, pads and skateboard

Private lessons are sold in packages of 1,5 or 10

Safety First

We adhere to strict safety protocol and industry standards to maintain a safe and fun learning environment. Campers are supervised from arrival to departure, and our staff undergo a rigorous training program. It is mandatory for all campers to wear safety equipment regardless of age or skill level.
Evolve's 'Challenge By Choice'

The Evolve Camps’ philosophy of ‘challenge by choice’ allows for campers to progress at their own pace. Our coaches encourage campers to set goals and challenge themselves, without pushing campers past the threshold of their skill level and comfort zone, ensuring a safe and fun experience.
Skill Levels

At Evolve Skate Camps, our well developed skateboard lesson plans ensure that campers of all skill levels are making the most out of their time at our summer camp. Evolve’s highly structured format allows campers to advance through the different skateboard levels as their skill level improves – this could be over the course of the week, the summer or several summers at Evolve Skate Camp.

Beginners quickly learn basic pushing and foot movements, while progress to flat ramps and master fundamental skills like pumping on half pipes and performing their first Ollie. Proper falling techniques are emphasized, and group sizes adapt as individuals progress.

Intermediate riders cover dropping in, basic vert tricks, and flatland tricks. Structured lessons enable campers to learn new skills and practice them in the afternoon.

Advanced skateboarders set weekly goals and receive one-on-one instructor time in the afternoon. Coaches observe morning warm-ups to assess each camper’s daily trick focus. The camp’s process ensures advanced riders depart with a fresh set of skateboard tricks.
